Abstract:Biological signals are studied for a biometrics. Their studies aim at using an individual information included in biological signals. If biological signals are measured even once, there is a risk that it is hard to reject another person liked a fingerprint. We propose a biometric technique using a musculo-skeletal model without storing both physical characteristics and behavioral characteristics. This technique is robust against the skimming of characteristics. We make the musculo-skeletal model by surface electromyogram and finger motions. We show a significant difference between the person himself and others, even though the same finger motion is measured in different subjects.
