The development and tests of a preamplifier for the spectrum analyzer adopted for noise measurements in quantum Hall standard

  • Abstract:
    This paper describes setups for measuring noise in the frequency range from 10 kHz to 100 MHz of semiconductor structures made of new Diracmaterials - 2D-COF/MOF intended for the construction of QHRS quantum standards. The main emphasis was placed on the preamplifiers. The first design gives solution with equivalent input noise value of about 1 nV/√???????? at 100 kHz and 400 V/V amplification, second - improves the spectrum analyzer's noise figure (NF) from 7 dB to 0.64 dB
