Considerations on Magnetic Levitation Realized with Superconductive Materials

Abstract:

In this paper are discussed the particularities of the magnetic levitation made with superconducting materials; the operating principle is specified and possibilities for making this levitation are presented. It highlights the structure, properties and applications of passive and active magnetic bearings.
