The second 2024 issue of Acta IMEKO is complete.

Dear readers,
The second issue of our open-access online journal, Acta IMEKO, is complete.
This issue has two tracks. The General track with 12 articles related to measurement in its broader sense covers fields like beehives parameters and broiler farms, detection and identification of microplastics, assessment of image fusion, deep learning methodologies, antimicrobial activity in food, acoustic human perception, or modelling of photovoltaic modules.

The second, larger track is dedicated to the 2023 IMEKO International Conference on Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, held in Rome (Italy) from the 19th to the 21st of October, 2023. The track contains - as a first part, more will come in the next issue - 22 articles based on enhanced versions of the papers presented at this conference.

Here are the editorials:
Introductory notes for the Acta IMEKO second issue in 2024 (by F. Lamonaca)
Editorial to selected papers from the 2023 IMEKO International Conference on ‘Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage’ – part 1 (by F. Leccese).
